Dungeon System

Dungeons use a system called Item Power — a number that shows how strong your equipment is. Inside dungeons, set bonuses work normally, but character special skills do NOT work. Your damage depends on Item Power, Transform, set bonuses, and your PvE modifier.

What is Item Power?

Check your Item Power by using "look" on your character. It comes from 7 equipment slots: Helmet, Armor, Legs, Boots, Amulet, Ring, and Shield. Items get more Item Power from upgrades, rarity bonuses, and corruptions.

Item Power example

How damage works in dungeons

Only four things affect your damage inside a dungeon:

  • Item Power
  • Set Bonuses
  • Transform
  • PvE modifier

Attack speed and cast speed are calculated in a way that does not affect how fast you clear the dungeon. Vocation bonuses and character special abilities are disabled inside dungeons.

Example: Two characters with the same Item Power, same set bonuses, and same Transform will deal exactly the same damage in a dungeon — regardless of their vocation or level.

Recommended Item Power

Every dungeon has a recommended Item Power. If you enter with less, monsters will deal more damage to you. If your Item Power is way too low, the dungeon will be nearly impossible.

Note: Uber mode also requires a Silver Badge and Bankai mode requires a Golden Badge. Without the right badge, monsters deal extra damage.

Three Dungeon Modes

Normal — Levels 100–800

The basic dungeon mode. Requires a key (seal) and the minimum level. Some dungeons also need a quest to be finished first. Dungeons 8–10 also need a minimum Soul Level.

Uber (Shikai) — Level 1400+

Requires 600 Soul Level, a Silver Badge, and 1 Uber Key. Items from Uber dungeons can roll up to KAMI rarity. Your first completion of each Uber dungeon gives 5× EXP. Finishing all 10 Uber dungeons gives a special reward.

Bankai — Level 1400+

The hardest mode. Requires 600 Soul Level, a Golden Badge, and 5× Uber Keys. Items can roll up to ETHEREAL (SOUL) rarity — the highest tier. Includes a SOUL pity system: after 45 runs without a SOUL drop, you are guaranteed one.

Uber & Bankai Mode

Every Normal dungeon can also be played in two higher difficulty modes. Each mode uses the same map but with much stronger monsters and better rewards.

Key System (Seals)

Every dungeon requires a key (seal) to enter. Each dungeon has its own dedicated seal type:

  • Normal: 1× Dungeon Seal (specific to that dungeon)
  • Uber: 1× Uber Seal (specific to that dungeon)
  • Bankai: 5× Uber Seal (same type as Uber for that dungeon)
Owner-bound seals: Some crafted seals are bound to their owner. The system automatically skips seals that do not belong to you when counting and consuming them — you never risk using someone else's key.
Where to enter? You can only start a dungeon from a PZ zone (protection zone). You cannot enter from a depot tile.

Rewards & Pity System

Reward Types

Every dungeon completion gives you a chance at:

  • Equipment item — unique per dungeon, with random rarity
  • Artifact — a unique item tied to that dungeon
  • Bonus loot — Crystal Coins, upgrade scrolls, rarity scrolls, bonus cards, bottles, tokens, and more
  • EXP — a fixed amount per completion

All rewards go directly to your depot inbox.

Pity System

Equipment Pity

Base drop chance: 16%. Every run without a drop increases your chance:

Runs without dropDrop chance
0 (first run)16%
118%
221%
325%
430%
536%
644%
760%
880%
9+100%

When you get an equipment drop, pity resets to 0.

Artifact Pity

Base chance: 0.4%. Increases by 0.05% per run without a drop. After 20 runs: 1.4%. After 100 runs: 5.4%.

Bankai ETHEREAL Pity

In Bankai mode, the ETHEREAL pity works differently:

  • Every run without an ETHEREAL drop increases a rarity divisor (doubles every 4 runs: 16 → 32 → 64 → ... → max 1024)
  • After 45 runs without ETHEREAL — guaranteed ETHEREAL drop
  • When you get an ETHEREAL item, pity resets to 0
Bankai mode summary:
Equipment: 16%–100% (pity per run)
Artifact: 0.4% + 0.05% per run + 0.25% bonus (×5) per run
ETHEREAL pity: guaranteed after 45 runs, with increasing divisor

First Uber Completion Bonus

Your first completion of each Uber dungeon gives 5× EXP. After completing all 10 Uber dungeons, you get a special reward item sent to your depot. The first player to complete all Uber dungeons in a season gets a server-wide announcement.

Mysterious Bag

The Mysterious Bag artifact gives a chance to double your Normal dungeon reward:

  • Tier 1: 2% chance for double loot
  • Tier 2: 3% chance for double loot

Dungeon Bless & Protections

Dungeon Bless

Dungeon Bless is a one-time consumable item that protects your keys if you die inside a dungeon. You can obtain it from the in-game store or marketplace.

How it works:
• Use the item before entering a dungeon
• If you die — your keys are refunded to your backpack
• The blessing is one-time use — it disappears after death
• You cannot have two active blesses at the same time

Key refund by mode:

  • Normal: 1× Seal returned
  • Uber: 1× Uber Seal returned
  • Bankai: 5× Uber Seal returned

Death in a Dungeon

When you die inside a dungeon:

  • With bless: Keys are refunded, bless is consumed
  • Without bless: You lose your keys
  • In both cases: you are teleported back to your saved PZ position, fully healed, and dungeon progress is reset
Note: Dying in a dungeon does NOT cause level loss or item loss from your backpack — you only lose your seals (unless you have bless) and dungeon progress.

Anti-Rollback

If you get disconnected during a dungeon run, the system automatically detects it on your next login:

  • Keys are automatically returned to your backpack
  • You get a message explaining what was refunded
  • Dungeon progress is reset
Example: If you were in a Bankai dungeon and the server crashed — after logging back in, you receive your 5× Uber Seals and a message: "You were in the middle of a Bankai dungeon but got kicked out. Your 5 passes are returned to you."
